Editor's Message It is with great happiness that I present to you this issue of the IAP-ID Newsletter ( Vol 8, No 1, January 2005 ). It has been my constant endeavor since the inception of the Newsletter to try to improve and upgrade its form and content which have been made over the years. The current issue, as you would have noticed, has yet another innovation. For the first time an issue of the IAP-ID Newsletter has been produced in full colour, something I had hoped to do for a long time but could not due to financial constraints. Now, due to the encouragement and tremendous support of our new President Lt. Gen. J. R. Bhardwaj this could be achieved. Gen. Bhardwaj has used his good offices and arranged the financial contribution from M/s Delhi Hospital Supply Pvt. Ltd., and, on behalf of the IAP-ID, I express our deepest thanks to Gen. Bhardwaj and M/s Delhi Hospital Supply Pvt. Ltd for this. The Newsletter being the vehicle through which members can keep themselves updated about the various activities of the IAP - Indian Division as well as the IAP. In order to make the Newsletter more comprehensive and current I appeal to all those members involved in various activities of the IAP and the IAP-ID to send their inputs to me so as the relevant material may be incorporated in the Divisional Newsletter. I do emphasize, yet again, the great need for members to arrange sponsors and advertisers for the IAP-ID Newsletter to make it self financing. The sponsors / advertisers should send their advertisement material and Demand Drafts in favour of "Secretary & Treasurer, IAP- Indian Division" payable at "Panaji (Goa)" and send it to the following address: Dr.Francisco Couto, Secretary & Treasurer, IAP-Indian Division, 714, La Campala Colony, Panaji - 403001, Goa. I wish you a fruitful and pleasant reading.
