Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the rules and conditions for refunds related to memberships, conferences, workshops, academic programs, and other services offered by the International Academy of Pathology – Indian Division (IAPID) through www.iapid.org.

1. General Policy

All payments made to IAPID are processed securely. Refunds, if applicable, are governed strictly by the terms outlined below.

2. Membership Fees

• Membership fees are non-refundable once processed.
• Membership benefits remain valid for the approved membership period.
• No refunds shall be issued for partial usage or non-utilization.

3. Conferences, CMEs & Events

• Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email.
• Refund eligibility (if any) depends on the specific event rules mentioned during registration.
• Processing fees, gateway charges, or administrative costs may be deducted from approved refunds.
• No refunds will be issued for non-attendance without prior cancellation.

4. Workshops, Courses & Educational Programs

Fees paid for workshops, training programs, or academic courses are generally non-refundable, unless explicitly stated otherwise in the program details.

5. Event Cancellation by IAPID

If an event or program is cancelled by IAPID due to unforeseen circumstances, registered participants may be eligible for:

• A full refund, or
• Transfer of registration to a future event, at IAPID’s discretion

6. Refund Processing

• Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 working days.
• Refunds will be credited to the original payment method only.
• IAPID is not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment gateways.

7. Taxes & Charges

Any applicable taxes, convenience fees, or payment gateway charges are non-refundable unless mandated by law.

8. Force Majeure

IAPID shall not be held liable for cancellations or refunds due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, or technical failures.

9. Policy Modifications

IAPID reserves the right to amend this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective upon posting on the website.
